  A big shift in the world is about to happen......

  i don't want to deceive anyone and i have to clarify a few things so i'm sorry this is going to be a lot more vague then you want.

  infact if you do not already realize or also feel something is about to happen as in the title, then move along, it will be a month or 2 before i update this.

  it's not my intention to annoy anybody, i am too uncomfortable to post any details because it's too new and i need to verify things, and i am also feeling responsible to give a subtle warning, that it might be something somebody needs to see.

  Well, I talked with two active JWs about the latest understanding of the F&DS.

  i know a brother who went to the most recent annual meeting.

  older brother, non-annointed, elder, wife a pioneer, and overall a pretty good dude.

  he let me take a peak at the new awake dropping in 2013, which by the way i have to give credit where it's due as i like the new 16 page format.

  newbie here - i need advice

  hello, i've been lurking in this forums for a while but its only now that i've created an account.

  i'm an inactive jw, been in and out sporidically these past few years, but its only these recent months after reading crisis of conscience and christian freedom that i think i will never go back there again.. the reason i've been inactive primarily is because i have issues regarding masturbation and porn.

  my conscience cannot allow to continue preaching while i continously being overcome by these habits myself.

  Dont judge the 'worldly' people as having no morals...most have it it bucket loads and a darn site fuller bucket than many JWs.

  What they don't have is G.U.I.L.T. from outdated moral crusaders.

  dump the guilt for a start, and go find a girl. You will probably find you can enjoy all 3.

  I wonder if they will write to all the 'anointed' or just suprise them at a meeting?

  writing to the partakers legitimises their claim of being anointed.

  they also dont trust these people so will they let them know early?.

  if they inform the munchers of emblems 'on the night' the whole cong will see the dissapointment, shock, despair, stabbed back.. on their faces as they are demoted to other sheep authority in this life, with the boss powers only coming in the next life.

  I of course was never annointed...but grew up KNOWING that the remnant were the FDS

  If i was still in, this is one thing I think that would have seriously shaken me.

  I think the 'anointed' have known they are not special to the corporation for a good long time and are probably as zombified as the rest, so i wouldnt expect a mass of niblers freaking out. In fact, some probably will be quite vocal the other way...

  Standard of Living in the New System

  i used to wonder about this when i was still a dub: since they believe the industrialized world is going to be destroyed and the entire earth will be one big garden, exactly what kind of standard of living do they think they will have?

  while they might be able to scavenge, say, a microwave oven or washing machine; and they might be able to figure out how to generate electricity, eventually all of these things will wear out and they'll be back in an early 18th century type of life.

  people of that time and earlier who enjoyed a high standard of living employed armies of servants to do the dirty work, but since equality will reign in the ns, everyone will have to toil like a slave just to maintain the basics.. or do they think that big j will magically power their washing machines and water pumps and all the stuff that makes modern living so comfortable?.

  should we be talking about the 'new FDS' change to GB?

  should we really be talking about the change of the fds now being the gb alone as official?.

  bear in mind that this 'new light' is only something mentioned at the agm (so we are told).

  Bear in mind that this 'new light' is only something mentioned at the AGM (so we are told). Really its not something we can prove until it is official writing ie; the Watchtower.

  Otherwise, if this is not a change (or if it is reversed after the GB read all the bad press) we have serious credibility egg all over our faces...

  Timing of new "faithful & discreet slave class" teaching

  the following is pure, 100% speculation, but i think it's fun to do anyway..... .

  as has been posted on numerous threads, the "biggie" coming out of the annual meeting this past weekend is that now the "faithful and discreet slave" is considered to be the jw governing body only - not "all anointed nes on earth".. and has been posted, it seems that the most recent direct statement of the "old light" - that the fds is composed of "all anointed" - was made in 2009.. so that makes me think - what happened between 2009 & 2012 to elicit such a change?.

  both jack barr & ted jaracz - the last of the "old guard" - died in 2010.. the gb went from 9 members down to 7.. assuming that the "2/3 majority" rule as written about by ray franz was still in effect, this scenario seems plausible:.

  while we speculate...

  maybe they will up and say its "actually 2014 that is when JC comes to inspect, oops, we were out by 100 years...but at least we are the watchful virgin class who kept the lamps lit"...

  its a numbers game so maybe anything is possible.

  The New Diary of Winston Smith

  we had to go off grid for a time, time and half a time as we thought we had been outed.

  fortunately it was a false alarm, but it was a stressful time.

  i asked for my original diary thread to be deleted in case there could be anything on there to identlfy mrs smith and i. i am always very careful when posting, and am sure there was nothing on there, but felt it best to have it removed in order to be as cautious as a dove.
